Our fully air conditioned Fitness Suite, Gym, Cycle Studio, Fitness Studio and Strength & Conditioning Room are packed with all the equipment you could need for a full workout.

Fitness Suite

The Fitness Suite looks over the swimming pool and is complete with 10 cardio machines, a multi jungle cable column, power-plate and a designated free-weights area (up to 50kg dumbbells).

Gym

The Gym contains 9 eGym resistance machines complete with 17 cardiovascular machines and a stretching area. Our eGym machines offer our members an interactive and personalised training experience. Workouts are automatically tailored to your needs and our machines adapt to your bodies when you sign in with your own wrist band.

Strength & Conditioning Room

Our stand alone Strength & Conditioning Room is equipt with squat racks, plyometric jump boxes and it’s own free-weights area.

Cycle Studio

Immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance of our state-of-the-art Cycle studio, with our dedicated area boasting 20 high-performance bikes.

Fitness Studio

Equipt with full length mirrors and ballet barre, this spacious area offers the perfect place for our yoga and pilates classes to take place.

Personal Training

Personal Training

Personal training sessions are tailored to match your fitness level, goals and needs. The trainer will keep you on track and guide you through workouts, whilst giving you feedback for continuous improvement.

Personal training is available to individuals, as pairs or even small groups. Sessions may take place in the Fitness Suite, Strength & Conditioning Room or another of our facilities which best suits your training requirements. Discounts of up to 25% are available when you purchase your sessions in bundles.

Sport Training

Sport Specific Training

Sport Specific Training integrates different training needs and goals for the individual’s sport; this includes replication of sporting movements which are relevant and a program built around key functional movement. The techniques used vary dependent on the sporting disciplines, with periodisation training implemented to achieve goals. Training needs are adapted as the athlete develops their balance, agility, speed, power, strength and flexibility.

Canterbury Harriers

Canterbury Harriers – Running Club

Canterbury Harriers is a running club based in Kent founded in 1993 and re-constituted in 1997. Their aim is to promote running for all standards and ages. They meet at Birley’s Sports Pavilion on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 18:45, with runs/sessions starting at 19:00.

These times are supervised by an instructor so 12 – 15 year olds can use the Fitness Suite without a parent or guardian.
